The Canadian Tamil Film Festival (CTFF) is a celebration for filmmakers from around Canada. We are committed to encouraging the work of independent filmmakers, promoting the concept of film as art, and providing a public forum for screening independent and experimental films.
This is the festival that honours artists for their individual voice. Our pledge is to reward filmmakers for their expression through creativity and independence. The Festival this year celebrates the ever-widening arc of accomplishments by Canadian Tamil filmmakers, whether they conceive, create, shoot, or finish their cinematic masterpieces here in Canada, or travel on to final destinations across the map.
Created as an alternative to commercial cinema and mainstream film festivals, our annual 1 day festival will promote film and television as an art form and honour the filmmakers and creators who make it all possible. |
